Mr. Eric Chan: “Services Driven Production”

“If you want to have a foothold in the media continuously, never be news driven production, but services driven production” said undoubtedly said Mr. Eric Chan.

Mr. Eric Chan, the Chief Editor of Hong Kong Economic Times (HKET) was invited by the Hong Kong Shue Yan College to give a talk named "The Future of Business and Financial Information" in the Tuesday assembly.

Mr. Eric Chan pointed out that “to be alive, not only work for news, but to provide services fulfilling what the customers want.” “Giving the customers the feeling of valuable is the way to fight with free newspaper.”

HKET are now doing this job, they providing the newest and organized information to the audience, with the aim of “giving what that others don’t have, being the best that other have”. HKET could be have a rising sale turnover, as they have a progressing management strategy.
